This pizza is soo fun! I love that it takes all the things that are super yummy on a cheese board and smashes them together on a pizza. Sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami are all present here and it makes each bite really interesting and different than the last.
***These days a really good quality frozen pizza crust is available at most grocery stores and I recommend always keeping one on hand. I do love homemade crust, but that is another recipe for another time. Having a crust on reserve is also great for the day after you serve an actual cheese board, so you can use up all the little leftover odds and ends and it is also great to whip out when you are in a bind before grocery day and need to make a “refrigerator clean out pizza”! It is amazing how many problems can be solved with a bag of mozzarella and a frozen pizza crust!
